YAP Schnepf Elementary Running Club (Grades K-6th)

YAP Running Club will be starting the week of October 12th. This 6 week program will introduce students to basic running and training concepts.   Running Club is a great way for kids to get active, build confidence, set goals, and have fun.  

• Participants that Register prior to October 9th will receive a Running Club T-Shirt
  • Anyone registering after the deadline is not guaranteed a t-shirt -OR- a t-shirt in their chosen size

Practice Days/Times will be set by Site Coaches and maybe subject to change.  Any Questions about Running Club should be directed to your SIte / Schools Running Club Coach / Coaches

Week #2 -   October 19th     ----Practices (2) held at your school   (TBD by each Site’s Coach)

Week #3 -   October 28th    ----Regional Race #1 or Practice 

         Race Time:  4pm Race Location:  Newell Barney College Prep     

         Race (Schools):    TBD          

Week #4 -   November 4th  ----Regional Race #2 or Practice

         Race Time:  4pm Race Location:  Newell Barney College Prep     

         Race (Schools):    TBD

 Week #5 -   November 18th ----District Race ALL Schools (9)

         Race Time:  4pm Race Location:  Newell Barney College Prep     

        Race:  ALL SCHOOLS

*Race Distance =  Appx 1.5 Miles

*Students should bring a water bottle and make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes to practices and races.
