YAP CHS Girls Volleyball Queen of the Court (Grades 7-12)YAP South RegionThis event is an individual "Queen of the Court" Volleyball Tournament, modeled after the traditional individual "Queen of the Beach" style. Athletes register for this tournament completely solo—no pre-made teams required. The Format: Players are placed into pools where they will cycle through rounds, playing exactly one short match with every other player in their pool as their partner. The Scoring: Rather than tracking team wins, players earn individual points based on the outcomes of their rotating matches. The Goal: To adapt quickly, communicate effectively with different partners, and accumulate the highest individual point total to advance to the final championship court. This is a highly social, high-energy format that tests a player's individual adaptability, versatile skill set, and court leadership.
